The labyrinthine landscapes and dizzying mazes in this exhibition visualise my queer awakening while navigating the heteronormative spaces we inhabit. Real and imagined locations blur evoking the sense of disorientation that arises as queer people manoeuvre through oppressive structures to find comfort, safety, and community. The motif of the street directory offers hope that there is a way through, revealing a destination that is deeply personal, and immensely pure.
